Several members of the track & field teams turned in strong performances at the John Covert Classic, hosted by Lehigh University, on Saturday.

Sophomore Steve Avino, sophomore Brendan Nash, and junior Taylor Flatau of the track & field teams performed well at the Ursinus College Pentathlon on Wednesday evening.

The track & field teams returned to action after nearly a month off following their season-opening meet, competing at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational on Saturday.

The track & field teams, armed with a strong blend of returning talent and promising newcomers, will enter the 2013-14 season with their sights set on improvement within the Centennial Conference (CC).
