The women's cross country team took on some top-notch competition and finished 34th among 40 teams in the Women's Brown race of the prestigious Paul Short Invitational, hosted by Lehigh University, on Saturday.

Sophomore Amanda Asaro was the top finisher for the women's cross country team at the Dickinson College Long-Short Course Invitational on Saturday at Big Spring High School.

The women's cross country has been ranked ninth in the latest Division III Mideast Region rankings, as released on Tuesday by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Gettysburg College women's cross country team defeated Franklin & Marshall College 20-37, but lost by a 15-48 count to 12th-ranked Dickinson College Wednesday evening at the Little Three Meet, hosted by Dickinson.
