The Centennial Conference announced its Sportsmanship Team from the fall and seven Gettysburg College student-athletes were on the list.

Thirty-four Gettysburg College student-athletes have been named to the 2013 Centennial Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, it was recently announced.

Twelve cross country athletes ran personal-record (PR) times and both Gettysburg squads broke the top-20 at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional in their final meet of the season on Saturday at Lehigh University.

Junior Jeff Horvath and senior Alex Bull were Gettysburg's top finishers at the Centennial Conference Cross Country Championships, hosted by McDaniel College on Saturday at the Carroll County Farm Complex.

The women's cross country team captured its third title of the season, winning the five-team Hood College Open on Saturday afternoon. The men's team placed second among five teams.

The Gettysburg College cross country teams each finished among the top-10 at the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday in a pair of races held in near-perfect running conditions.
